There’s something magical about taking engagement photos in a place with meaning for the couple. Take Julie and Joe, for example. She grew up right by Glencoe beach, AND it’s where he proposed. It was actually showing tons of rain for that night. But Julie had a good feeling it would pass and she was right. Although the forecast was awful all day, it was perfect weather for the time of their session and we even had a gorgeous sunset.

Julie and Joe met in high school through mutual friends. They are the perfect example of enduring young love – they have been together for over 9 years!

Glencoe Beach Proposal
Since Julie grew up near by, this Glencoe Beach park was the perfect spot to propose. Julie says that it was a total and complete surprise – she says she almost fainted!

A Sweet Treat
For date nights, Joe and Julie love to grab a sweet treat – any kind, apparently! But their favorite? What Julie describes as the “best ice cream ever” – Dairy Bar!
