With so many of you getting engaged over the holidays (with more to come this weekend – hooray!), I thought it would be fun to highlight some of my favorite wedding dress designers this week for our “February Favorites.”
Anne Barge
Anne Barge is a wedding dress designer that originated in Atlanta, Georgia. She is known for her feminine and timeless designs. You just cannot get more classic than her designs! But what I love about her is that she takes these lovely, traditional elements and melds them with current trends, materials, and embellishments. The perfect combination of timeless and modern!
Pronovias
Pronovias is a well-known atelier with a LONG history – seriously. It started in 1922 as a fabric store and grew into the global brand that we all know and love today! Pronovias is so special, because they only use the finest materials, silks, laces, etc. But even more than that, I love Pronovias because they are size-inclusive, meaning every bride has the opportunity to be a Pronovias bride on her wedding day – and what’s sexier than that?
Vera Wang
Easily the most well-known designer on this list, Vera Wang is one of the most sought-after dress designers in the industry. Vera Wang began her career as an editor at Vogue, then transitioned into the world of bridal (and mainstream) fashion. She is so well known for her juxtaposition of traditional elegance and modern simplicity and also has a huge celebrity following. If you want that wow factor, Vera Wang certainly knows how to deliver!
You cannot go wrong with choosing one of these designers for your wedding. But more importantly, you must go with your gut and choose the dress that speaks to YOU. Don’t worry about labels or details – just worry about looking like YOU on your wedding day!
