You know you have a couple who is truly selfless and kind when they get YOU a gift on THEIR wedding day. When I arrived at the Reinasannce Hotel for Lexi and Dan’s Room1520 wedding, I was greeted with hugs and a gift of a Dundie award and coffee mug! HOW SWEET! Lexi and Dan had the most relaxed and calm wedding morning. Their small bridal party allowed for ease and quiet. Before the two of them got dressed, they enjoyed a beverage of their choice to celebrate.
Dan looked so dapper and Lexi looked STUNNING in her gorgeous ball gown! Tricia Clarke and her friend/MOH Kayla did an amazing job of heightening her natural beauty!
Every blog post I gush over first looks. Why? Because they truly are amazing! I love seeing the nerves wash away from my brides and grooms as soon as they see one another. It truly is the best way to take in the moment together and spend a few uninterrupted minutes together. Lexi and Dan during this time also were able to share private vows to one another promising to always love, forgive, and have fun together.
Engagement sessions are the best time for me to get to know my couple and get them all comfortable in front of the camera. I knew from their engagement session we’d have a great time for their bridal portraits! They both radiated with joy and looked AH-MAZING! They also had a great little squad by their side too!
They had both their ceremony and reception at Room1520. It looked SO amazing!!! This venue is such a great white blank canvas to do whatever you want to it and Lexi and Dan’s vision looked stunning! Their ceremony was sweetly put together. The officiant told their story and shared more about their love for each other. Smiles were on everyone’s faces the whole time.
Then we snuck on the rooftop for some quick husband and wife portraits before the party began!
Lexi and Dan have so many amazing, fun and entertaining family members and friends. Everyone laughed and danced the night away. There was so much laughter and many smiles from the amazing speeches done by Lexi’s dad, Kayla the maid of honor and Mike the best man (who brought in some entertainment for his speech). And there was no shortage of dancing and fun the rest of the night for these two. It really was an amazing, laid back and fun day! Lexi & Dan, you two are absolutely amazing and kind. I couldn’t be happier to have been there to capture this important day for you.
