Mariah and Tony are two of the most patient and kind people I’ve ever met! The two of them met swing dancing at a night club, which happened thanks to a little matchmaking by friends and family. Tony proposed to her during a night at swing dance night in downtown Geneva. They went outside for some air. After he proposed, they celebrated with champagne and celebrated with the group back to in the studio!
The two of them are both so kind, easy going, and put others before themselves. You can truly tell that they love and are so loved by all of those around them. I’m so so happy for them and so honored to have been a part of their day 🙂 Mariah and Tony, you guys are amazing and I wish you guys all the happiness in the world!
Let me tell ya, MARIAH IS SO ORGANIZED! When I arrived she had everything in a little bag set aside for me with extra things for styling. She was calm, excited, and so easy going the morning of her wedding. The guys over at Tony’s relaxed and played chess.
Ya’ll know how I feel about first looks! They are AMAZING! Mariah and Tony opted for one and it was so great to watch their nerves turn into excitement! Their first look was so sweet! They laughed and smiled the whole time!
Talk about bridal party goals! Their bridal party was filled with such relaxed, kind, and helpful people! They were truly such a great group to surround Mariah and Tony on their wedding day!
CAN WE TALK ABOUT MARIAH’S DRESS!? HER HAIR?! She looked like a modern day Cinderella meets Taylor Swift and I am here for it! These two are such naturals in front of the camera! I love how you can see the patient, kind and sweet love and care they have for each other!
They had their ceremony in Tony’s church in Aurora. It was absolutely beautiful. There were many bible verses spoke during their ceremony, but they all had many things in common. Care for one another, love each other and other people, and always forgive each other.
Their reception was in the Meyer Ballroom owned by the Aurora Paramount Theater! I grew up in Aurora so it was so great to be in my stomping grounds! When I first started photography I’d shoot down here a lot! The two of them made downtown Aurora look GOOD! I still can’t get over Mariah’s dress! It was so elegant and so so pretty!
Their reception had a slight Cinderella theme to it, which was totally fitting. Not only because Mariah looked like a modern day Cinderella, but because she has always been the special princess to her family and her mom “prayed she’d be invisible to anything that would do her harm”. It’s very clear that they’re are beloved by those around them. Tony’s little brother, Andy, spoke about how much he looked up to Tony and how Mariah was the little sister Erin has always wanted.
