Morgan and Mike’s Michigan Ave engagement session was amazing! Our original plans took a turn thanks to 40 mile per hour winds and cold temperatures. These two were so easy going about it and were up for heading to Michigan Ave and the Wrigley Building instead! Their wedding is going to be SOOO good this summer at New Leaf!
Morgan and Mike were originally just friends back in high school. They had similar friend groups and would hang out from time to time. Mike was older, so once he graduated high school, he was off the grid and having fun at college in Las Vegas.
It was years until Morgan and Mike saw each other again. Morgan found out that he would be a mutual friend’s party. She was so excited to see him again but played it cool. They saw each other and caught up.
Then one morning, Morgan got a text from Mike. “Want to get dinner tonight?” Morgan and her friends all agreed she should go. So they helped her get ready and she went to dinner with Mike.
When Mike proposed to Morgan, he got the help of her mom and two sisters. They got Morgan to go out to the Christkindlmarket during the day. Since Mike had family in town, she thought they would have dinner with them later that night once she got home. But surprise! When she got home, it was covered in flowers and candles with him standing by their fireplace on one knee.
They cried. They celebrated. They had champagne. Then Mike surprised Morgan with all of their families and then they went out with all of their friends. Morgan said it was perfect!
You can find these two making jokes and laughing with each other. They both are so light-hearted and love to have fun. They both have big hearts and care about those around them and that’s what makes them love each other the most! I can’t wait to celebrate them this July!!!
